For example, T9 text input isn't possible with the lid closed. Nokia wants you to open the lid and type on the QWERTY keyboard, but if you've got a bag of shopping in each hand, or are waiting at a very dodgy bus stop, this is the last thing you want to do. When Sony Ericsson acceded to user demands to add T9 to the P800's successor, the result was a much more usable phone.
Many other shops use Custom ROMs and can also offer German and other languages on the devices. The problem with such ROMs is that you can no longer update and it can often happen that there are Trojans, Spam Ware or viruses on it. We avoid this by using only the official ROMs, even if that means that we can only offer a device with English / Chinese. Many customers come to us and ask us if we can flash their devices, where we unfortunately have to reject. The Custom ROMs have been installed by detours and often prevent a normal update or flash.
NO, definitely not with us. We pay close attention to the quality of the devices offered by us. With us, each device is checked for errors and installed with the new and current official ROMS. We use the latest official Xiaomi ROMS or Xiaomi.eu ROMS. There are no Trojans, viruses or other malicious software on it. Unfortunately after I have payed, I get 3 emails from expansys.com.hk stating that the Australian warehouse is closed and that my purchase will be handled by their website and to pay the fees to their Hong Kong Bank Account! To add insult to injury they want an extra $28 for postage. Even more insulting is if I purchased directly through their hk portal the purchase would $50 cheaper and I wouldn't be up for GST!
A3 Australia: I almost always agree with your well-informed comments however on this one you are very mistaken. eXpansys' sales in Australia used to be facilitated (i.e. taking customer calls, fulfilling orders to Australian customers) in Australia by a local business with local employees that registered the expansys.com.au domain name in order to carry out said facilitation. That business was owned by Maldonriver Pty Ltd and the family trust. 153554b96e
